Saturday, March 3, 2007 - The Vieques Youth Leadership Initiative (VYLI) arranged for a group of its youth to take a guided hike to the top of Mt. Pirata, the highest point on Vieques. VYLI Leader Marianne .. organized the trip to celebrate Tanya ..'s birthday.
... and Paul from the US Fish and Wildlife service gave a guided tour during the hike, pointing out plants and birds and answering questions from kids and adults alike. The group enjoyed lunch, activities and amazing views at the summit of Mt. Pirata.
