Getting to Vieques is not difficult, but you will need assistance. A number of small airlines provide daily flights from Puerto Rico. The lancha (ferry) from nearby Fajardo is an alternative.
Once you are here, you will need a way to get around. Publicos (Taxi vans) offer direct transportation, though we suggest a rental car or scooter.
