A true "Natural Wonder" of Vieques is a Ceiba (say-ba) tree near the northwest coast of Vieques. This unique tree has been an island resident for about 400 years.
The Ceiba is low and wide, with broad, buttressed roots emerging from a stout trunk.
The grassy area around the Ceiba is ideal for a picnic, where you can relax and watch small planes pass directly overhead.
