Playa Cocal (coconut beach) is an idyllic and scenic beach on south Vieques. The white sand beach is lined with palm trees and sea grapes. Wild horses occasionally appear for a swim and a roll in the sand!
Playa del Cocal is a favorite of Viequenses and explorers, and is meant to be kept as secluded as possible... You will have to ask how to find this beach once you get here!
Swimmers should be careful of submerged rocks, and sunbathers should watch for falling coconuts!
