Green Beach is a tranquil and isolated beach, situated at the Northwest tip of Vieques, and part of the western Vieques National Wildlife Refuge.
Green Beach offers excellent views of Mt. Pirata, the Puerto Rico mainland and the El Yunque Rainforest.
Green Beach has some of Vieques' best snorkeling reefs. Easily accessible, shallow reefs are located all along Green Beach, characterized by calm waters and giant coral formations.
The sandy, palm-lined beaches are perfect for the proverbial "long walks on the beach," with beautiful scenery and excellent beachcombing along the way!
Head west along Route 111, pass (or stop and see) the Ceiba tree, Mosquito Pier, Playa Rompeolas, the Ammo Bunkers and Mt. Pirata, until you pass through the yellow NWRS gate.
Drive along the canopied road. See the information kiosk and short boardwalk into Laguna Kiani. Cross the metal bridge and continue until you reach forks in the road.
Each path leads to small parking areas along Green Beach.
